December 11: Children‘s Christmas Program

October was a great attendance month in the children‘s education wing! We are delighted to have so many come and learn about all the characters in the Bible.

The young children are continuing to learn about the stories from the Old Testament, including Jacob and Esau, and family dynamics.

Our older children continue to study The Story along with our adult members. A new component is we are emailing a parent page with the weekly update, which helps parents bring up conversation with their children about each week‘s lesson. If you are not receiving a weekly email update about Sunday School, please contact the church office, so we can get you on the list.

Advent is coming up, so please watch for information about the children‘s Christmas program. The children will be presenting "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" on Sunday, December 11^th, during worship. Every child will have an opportunity to participate and be an important part of this tradition. Our music director, Jennifer Hartsell, is excited to be working once again with our children to put together a fun and meaningful program. Practices will continue during children‘s choir time.
